Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) Program
Airframe and Powerplant (A&P)

Students working on a helicopter in the school hanger.The Federal Aviation Administration CFR 147 prescribes requirements for certified Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) schools.  Lively Technical Center’s AMT, A&P program consists of three major core areas, General, Airframe and Powerplant. The program is designed to train students in related knowledge and skills necessary for entry into the aviation industry as a FAA licensed Airframe and Powerplant Technician. Students will be prepared for the Federal Aviation Administration Airframe and Powerplant (A & P) Certification.

After completing the program the student is required to pass the FAA written, oral, and practical exams prior to receiving their FAA license.

 

 

ACCEPTANCE OF CREDITS

Student with previous training or experience may apply for credit as provided for in FAR 147.31(c). The school reserves the right to administer tests equal to the ones given to a student who completes the required curriculum subjects.
