What is Lively Aviation all about? What is a tabbed FAR/AIM and tabbed PHAK? Do I even need tabs for the FAR/AIM? What is the FAR/AIM?
These might be some questions you are having if you've come across our website. We are happy you're here!
Lively Aviation was started in May of 2020 by Jeff Lively Jr (author of this post). What started out as helping myself pass my instrument checkride has grown into a business, one that has now helped over 5,000 pilots across the United States, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, and Canada. We strive daily to bring value to the aviation industry through Safety, Professionalism, and Excellence.
The FAR/AIM is the Federal Aviation Regulation and Aeronautical Information Manual Handbook produced by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This manual is imperative to pilots learning to fly in the United States, so much so that it's named "The Aviation Bible."
The PHAK is the Pilots Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge. This manual is also produced by the FAA and gives you an understanding of all things flying, fixed wing at least.
Here is where the tabbed FAR/AIM comes into play. What we do is we tab out the regulations that you will need to know towards the certificate or rating in which you are pursuing. We have Private Pilot, Instrument, Commercial, CFI and CFI-I available to purchase. We also offer combined versions making which are game changers!

All of our tabbed manuals are hand tabbed by our on staff pilots which we hire through a local university program. On average, it takes about 45 minutes to tab your FAR/AIM professionally.
We look forward to helping thousands of more pilots with their flight training and success, which is what we are ALL about!
Blue skies and safe flying my friends!
